FKS Group Supports FoodCycle’s Food Marathon to Combat Food Waste and Enhance Food Security

In celebration of the 2024 World Food Day with the theme ‘The Right to Food for a Better Life and Future,’ FKS Group is proud to support FoodCycle’s Food Marathon as part of the Food Rescue Warrior program in collaboration with the DBS Foundation and a multi-partner network. This initiative rescues surplus food from hotels, restaurants, cafés, retailers, and agriculture, redistributing it to those in need. Since its inception, the initiative has provided more than 300,000 meals and helped 35,000 people.

As part of our commitment to Food Security and one of our key ESG pillars, FKS Group is proud to contribute 1 tonne of rice and 500 kg of tempeh to this meaningful initiative. This effort also demonstrates our ongoing support for sustainability and responsible food production in Indonesia, while enhancing the well-being of communities and protecting the environment.
